Mission & Purpose
Welcome to the Navajo Nation Division of Social Services Financial Assistance Unit, dedicated to fostering the well-being and prosperity of our community. We are proud to introduce the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program, a vital initiative aimed at empowering individuals and families through comprehensive support. This program, funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is designed to address the unique needs of the Navajo Nation community and promote self-sufficiency.
Our Services
The CSBG Program offers a range of services to address various needs within the community. These services include, but are not limited to:
Financial Assistance
Emergency financial assistance for essential basic needs such as food and other important household items.
Housing Assistance
Emergency financial assistance for essential basic needs such as rent, utilities, and medical expenses.
Employment Support
Job readiness training, employment counseling, and support services to aid in self-sufficiency.
Health and Wellness Resources
Access to healthcare resources, preventive services, and wellness programs to improve overall health outcomes.
Educational Support
Vocational training, educational counseling, and support services to enhance economic stability.
